News

That’s a wrap for 2019.

We would just like to send out a massive thank you to all the performers and stewards who took part in Cwlwm Celtaidd 2019.

Your support and commitment to our festival is without doubt something that contributes to its success.

Let’s do it all again in 2020.

Diolch yn fawr

Sarah, Mel, Anne and Maurice

*Flash Update* Free Parking Available

Good Evening Everyone!

After a visit to the Hi-Tide today, we have stumbled upon some good news. The Car Park at Sandy Bay (right outside the venue) is usually pay and display, however, Staff have informed us that the pay booth only operates from Easter.

This means that there will be limited (and we stress limited) FREE parking available on the doorstep of the Hi-Tide. This will be on a first come first serve basis, but it is indeed a welcome bit of news!

Looking forward to seeing you on the weekend!

The New Home of Cwlwm Celtaidd For 2019

It’s Official!

Cwlwm Celtaidd has found its new home at the fantastic Hi-Tide Inn.

We are extremely excited about the move. The Hi Tide is a fantastic venue, with first class facilities, and the move allows Cwlwm Celtaidd to remain at its spiritual home in Porthcawl.

The Cwlwm Celtaidd Committee are looking forward to making CC19 the best yet.

Cwlwm Celtaidd 2018

Following the success of Cwlwm Celtaidd over the past few years, we are always looking at ways to develop the festival.

As a result, this year the festival will not take place in its current format. Cwlwm Celtaidd will host a few smaller events in 2018 as we prepare to bring the festival back in full swing in 2019.

Keep an eye out on our website for more information about upcoming events in 2018.

Thank you for making the 2017 festival such a success!

A big thank you to all who took part in Cwlwm Celtaidd 2017.
Artists, stewards, schools, Pavilion staff, sponsors, bcbc tourism, Porthcawl Town Council, the Welsh Folk Dance Society, Music Wales and all the people who bought tickets and supported the event – together we made this happen.
We hope you enjoyed the festival!
