Born in 1824 at Sulby, Isle of Man, Arthur Caley eventually grew to 7’11”, and was probably the tallest man in the world during his life.

The modern day Caley Band shares some characteristics with the Victorian giant in that it has grown to huge proportions over it’s thirty odd years existence. The band play exclusively Manx tunes to which they ‘call’ dances from all over the known world; and maybe one or two…. from the unknown.

Apart from the caller, todays line up includes harp, viola, violin, accordion, flute and guitar.
