Gracie Richards

Gracie Richards hails from the Llynfi Valley, Maesteg, and has loved music from a young age.  She started playing the guitar at 9 as well as the piano and Violin. Preferring the 6 strings of the acoustic guitar, she also began to play the Ukulele at 14 and is now accomplished at both. Performing folk/pop/indie style music, Gracie is also a prolific song writer with influences including Alanis Morrisette, Ed Sheeran, Joni Mitchell, Florence and the Machine, and The Staves.

Gracie is accustomed to performing, having represented both her Primary and Secondary schools at the Eisteddfod and in various musicals and concerts. She recently performed a self-penned song at the Urdd Eisteddfod Proclamation ceremony and has also enjoyed trying her hand at busking.
