The Ballochleam Highland Dancers are the only Scottish Highland Dance Company to offer a repertoire that is unique in that it is traditional, diverse, contemporary yet with its origins steeped in traditional highland dance.

The repertoire of Ballochleam Highland Dancers incorporates traditional steps and movements with moderns twists such as Salsa & Hip hop.  The Ballochleam Highland Dancers were formed by Gillian Whitelaw in 1981 and have over the years gone from strength to strength and represented Scotland throughout the world.

Gillian handed over the reins in January 2011 to Sarah Lamont, a member of the  Ballochleam Dancers and pupil for around 20 years of the Gillian Whitelaw School of Highland and Hebridean Dance.
